Know the facts. So-called Right-to-Work doesn't create jobs. It turns good union jobs into bad jobs.
- Workers in so-called right-to-work states make about $5,300 less per year.
- In so-called right-to-work states, fewer are free to join a union, slashing retirement contributions and crippling pensions.
- You might call it “right-to-work to death” - the workplace death rate is 36 percent higher in so-called right-to-work states.

Take Three Minutes to Help Save a Life
At least 1.7 million construction workers could be protected from cancer-causing silica if an OSHA protection - stalled for two years - is put into action. Now there's a petition to the White House urging that the protection be put into place.
In the time it takes to create an account at the White House website - about three minutes - more than three more workers will have been exposed to silica. Sign the petition to tell the White House to protect construction workers by putting a plan into place. The deadline for signatures is February 11. Make good use of three minutes by helping to keep your fellow union members healthy - and alive - and then share this petition with your friends on Facebook, Twitter, email and any other ways you can: http://wh.gov/E3Ta
